Communication media has no wonder turned the world into global village.
It has ushered new era of doing business, daily tasks with ease but surely it has long
way to go to improve on. Number of technologies evolved, and the pace of communication
got better and better by iterating and improvements but now that snail pace has bumped in

5G
NO wonder we have all heard of upcoming iteration of current communication
Technology the 5G. 5g is said to achieve 20 Gbits/s at Max and user experienced data
of 1 Gbits/sec and the latest iteration is said to be at 100 Gbits/sec which is whooping
1000 time faster than 4G.No wonder 5G has hell of load to handle and it's worth the next
big bang in technology.

Problems with 5G
As it has been with all other wireless technology the same problem is with 5G
“The coverage area”. As you get nearer to Access Pint or the receiver/ transmitter
the speed is good and as you go far the speed slows down. Now Other player has jumped in
to compensate that “coverage Problem” and access to the remotest parts of the world.
Google Loon Project.
As there is coverage area problems with current ground based technologies so google has
turned up to providing internet through balloons above from the air. The balloons will
beam internet from above 20 Km from stratosphere driven by AI to maneuver its way
through the air currents. The balloons will be in air for more than 100 days at time.
The Race for Space.
SpaceX, OneWeb, Telesat, O3b Networks and Theia Holdings are the five companies which
want satellite internet and has submitted with FCC for Bands. Iridium and viasat are already
providing Internet through satellite like viasat1. The viasat can provide to 1 million users
at 25 MBPS. OneWeb is planning to launch 2700 satellites providing speed of over 1GPS.
SPaceX wants to Launch total of over 12000 satellites . Boeing is planning on 3000 satellites
to launch.
The bands that are under consideration are Ka, Ku and v. The full mesh network of satellites
will reduce the delay time to 25ms. The higher the frequency the smaller the satellites can be.
Future belongs to Satellites internet which will eventually take over land-based
communications and the next big leap will be security which will take us into Quantum Realm
of communication.
Currently SpaceX has all the means with reusable rocket to establish such a network of
satellites. The major player could be SpaceX in the coming revolt.
